About Us

Chris Cummings, Owner

Originally from Griswold, Connecticut, and now residing in Brooklyn, Chris began Judo at age eight at Kwang Moo Kwan Judo Club in Norwich. He earned his black belt at 15 and has won numerous national championships and international medals for USA Judo. Chris also wrestled for Griswold High School, becoming the first state champion in the school’s inaugural wrestling program. In 1994, he moved to Colorado Springs to train as a resident athlete at the Olympic Training Center while attending the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Chris is a proud father of two daughters, both black belts; his eldest now owns and operates Top Game Martial Arts in Plainfield. He is a certified USA Judo International Coach, holds certifications in CPR, SafeSport, and concussion protocol, and is certified in USA Wrestling, including specialized certification in female wrestling.

About Us

Brandan Greczkowski, Owner

Originally from Plainfield, Connecticut, and now residing in Old Lyme, Brandan is a proud father of two daughters. He began practicing Judo on his eighth birthday at Kwang Moo Kwan Judo Club in Norwich. By age 15, he earned his black belt and went on to win multiple national championships and international medals representing USA Judo. Brandan attended Killingly High School, where he was a state champion in wrestling. In 1995, he moved to Colorado Springs to train as a resident athlete at the Olympic Training Center. Brandan represented the United States at the 1999 World Championships and the Pan-American Games, and in 2000, he competed at the Sydney Olympic Games, placing 7th. He is a USA Judo certified coach and holds certifications in CPR, SafeSport, and concussion protocol.
